Joyce Manor - "Fake I.D."

One of my favorite modern punk bands, Joyce Manor, just dropped this new track from their upcoming album Cody (10/7). "Fake I.D." definitely builds off the sound of their last record, 2014's Never Hungover Again. It's catchy and has some warm classic rock vibes, including a sweet guitar lick throughout. Once again I'm drawn in by Guitarist/vocalist Barry Johnson's unique situational lyricism as he sings of a girl comparing Kanye West to John Steinbeck.
