Welcome Home - "Wait"

Welcome Home are a pop-punk band from St. Louis that make me excited. I had the pleasure of seeing these guys at a small but raucous house show back in October, and was really impressed right from the get go. Although the acoustics were less-than stellar being that it was in a cramped living room, the energy and that the band brought was undeniable. Their newest single shows the band's sound at its most polished to date, with vocalist Nick Pirrone's voice soaring high above the well-mixed swing and sway of the instruments. This isn't pop punk that simply races out of the gates to infect your brain with sing-along hooks and melodies. Welcome Home's brand will envelop you and drive home a point, a feeling.
