Not On Tour

Not On Tour, from Tel Aviv, Israel, are everything you want in a punk band. Their songs are short bursts of insightful aggression (most of their songs don't even reach the two-minute mark), they play fast, loud, hardcore-leaning rhythms, and their lead singer is a female who's a force to be reckoned with. Their angry but articulate lyricism coupled with their over-caffeinated playing brings to mind classic acts like The Descendents, Minor Threat, and NOFX. The female vocalist dynamic leads me to believe that this would be what No Doubt may have sounded like musically if they decided to stay on the ska-punk path. This is an extremely fun band that has a lot of potential in today's scene while staying true to the genre's roots.
